Meeple Incremental Prestige Explained

Prestige is Meeple Incremental’s long-loop reset. After you purchase every meeple, the full game lets you prestige: start a fresh board climb with new upgrades, extra meeples, and bonuses such as more skill points from Start. It is the headline 1.0 system for players who want more than a single cozy clear.

Critically—quoting Simply Artizan’s launch messaging—prestige is not required for 100% Steam achievements. If you prefer a shorter experience, you can finish the 30 achievements and stop without ever resetting.

Unlock requirement

You must own the complete meeple shop roster before prestige opens. That means planning money around late colors, not only early bargains. Use:

• All Meeples for color roles
• Meeples Tier List for buy order
• Automation so idle income can fund expensive finishes
• Progression Checklist to track the “own every meeple” gate

If a late meeple feels unreachable, you are usually missing income multipliers, auto-clickers, collectibles, or minigame speed—not “doing prestige wrong.”

What you gain from prestiging

Exact upgrade text can shift with patches, but launch messaging highlights:

• New prestige upgrades with significant bonuses
• Additional meeples beyond the pre-prestige roster
• Increased skill points from passing Start
• A reason to replay early/mid game with a stronger baseline

Think of prestige as buying a second campaign with better permanent toys—not as a mandatory wall.

What you should finish before resetting

Because prestige restarts progression pressure, sweep value that does not easily return:

1. Collectibles you can afford — tickets spent into strong bonuses may be worth grabbing (Collectibles Tier List).
2. Achievement progress — if you are chasing 100% without prestige, finish those goals first.
3. Minigame familiarity — know which games you will rush to re-automate (Minigames).
4. Skill tree lessons — note which nodes felt mandatory so post-prestige routing is faster (Skill Tree).

You do not need to “perfect” the first loop if you enjoy resetting—just avoid prestiging the second you see the button if a cheap S-tier collectible is one ticket farm away.

When prestige is worth it

Prestige soon after unlocking it if:

• Idle gains feel flat even with automation online
• You specifically want extra meeples and Start skill bonuses
• You have already finished (or abandoned) a non-prestige 100% plan

Delay prestige if:

• Several achievements remain that look easier on the current board
• You still lack core auto-clickers or minigame speed upgrades that would make the next loop trivial
• You are only curious and still enjoying first-loop collectible hunting

There is single-player only race—single-player means your pace is correct by definition.

Post-prestige gameplan

1. Re-establish income and auto-clickers immediately (same wisdom as Getting Started).
2. Rush the prestige upgrades that restore board speed—especially anything boosting Start skill points.
3. Reopen strong minigames early; spend into their skill trees and shop speed upgrades sooner than you did in loop one (Full Release).
4. Expand toward new meeples with the Meeples Tier List as a living reference—extras may change priority.
5. Reassess collectibles; some bonuses feel even stronger with denser meeple traffic.

Prestige vs demo players

Demo saves taught the board loop without prestige. Full release on September 14, 2026 is where the reset layer appears alongside more content. If your muscle memory ends at “max the demo shop,” read Full Release and Patch Notes before assuming old endpoints still apply.

Achievements reminder

Thirty Steam achievements track milestones across systems. Because prestige is optional for completionists, the wiki treats prestige as content depth, not a checklist requirement. The Codes Hub also clarifies that achievements and tickets—not redeem codes—are the reward tracks.
